CHANCES OF RECEIVING THE "BEST" ADVICE

     Let me ask you a simple question:  Do you think you have a better opportunity to receive the "best" advice or products from a captive agent that can ONLY sell you products offered by the company the agent works for, or is it more likely that you'll be able to receive the "best" advice/products from an INDEPENDENT agent who can sell you products from many different companies?

     The question is basically a rhetorical one.  Of course the chances are much more significant that someone will receive better advice and a better product by working with an independent agent.

     Is it possible that once in a blue moon a captive agent will have the "best" product for an individual client?  It's possible but very unlikely.

     Whether you are purchasing Iowa Car Insurance, Iowa Home Insurance or Iowa Life Insurance or any other kind of insurance, your best buy is through an Independent agent.

     Our agency began as a captive agency so I have experience on both sides of this aisle.  I can't tell you how many times I wished I had more companies to help out a client when I was a captive agent.  As an Independent Agent I'm no longer "forced" to sell a client an inferior product just because my contract doesn't allow me to sell for more than one insurance company.  It's better for you and it's better for me.  I love being an Independent Iowa Insurance Agency!!
